6month check in LOL

Oh Lord...I haven't updated since august! Is it safe to say I should probably officially say I'm done writing a blog...it is kinda nice having it here to be able to throw it all out there...
Jake & I went to Cincinnati last weekend and it was AMAZING!...Getting there not so much...like tears and everything...but yeah...as soon as I walked into our hotel room I was like yea...can we just say here all night....send Garth to our room!...if it was for a reds game...I would have seriously stayed in the hotel room and sent Jake to the game by himself...it had a living room, small kitchenette, big ole tub for 2, king size bed, and big bathroom...and NO KIDS...like seriously...Can someone book me and Jake a night or 2 again and I won't leave the room...that is what kind of happens when you are a stay at home mommy and have a little baby that still sleeps in your room.. you are eternally tired and usually all touched out :)....I had had been counting down the hours till this weekend...and that day a few times it felt like out of our reach!

It was strange though being without kids and ...that is why I don't really indulge myself and leave my kids very often to "go out" and do whatever. and if you do that is great you earned it...but after one time having to be a parent with a raging hangover when Sondra was a baby....I was like NOPE that is not for me!

I'm 29 years old. I have 4 kids. I started early. I have always felt like I've needed to defend the fact. Its not always a parents dream these days for your freshly high school graduate to get married a month after graduating. Let alone that newly married graduate decide to then get pregnant 3 months into her new marriage- but that is what we wanted. and we were so lucky to have supportive parents that believed in us...but not everyone did...

Since having babies and especially this year- I have felt like the old lady. It is not that I don't know how to have fun- its just 1. I'm breastfeeding a baby....that is like a job for me...I know its supposed to be this super natural easy going thing..but its not for me..... 2. A baby that doesn't like to sleep through the night...3. Hangovers are not my forte... ..4. 4 kids that are busy all the time!!!!......but catch me in about 7/8 years I'm sure I will have loosened up and all my kids sleeping through the night... okay! Then I'll be able to whatever the hell I want :)

I seen a pin on Pinterest that said:
4 Questions Every Christian Mother Must Answer
1. Are The Souls of your children worth the Prime of your life?
2. What are you Willing to sacrifice to raise children that follow hard after Christ?
3. What will you say "no" to in order to say "yes" to your family?
4. Are you willing to postpone your dreams to cultivate your children's hearts now?
