1st off- with the help/encouragement from my Grandpa I'm going to teach at bible school. I am very nervous. I'm teaching 1st and 2nd grade! I have been excited all along but now really really excited b.c. I'm going to be apart of bible school! I'm reading the lessons and figuring stuff out.
2nd- this Sunday is Father's Day... hmm... yes.. My original plans were not to make anything of it... here is a confession... this year for mother's day I told Jake not to worry about doing anything..that he and Sondra could make me a dinner... well Mother's day rolled around and no special dinner...a few days after I nudged them to do it..and I felt a little... short changed... like...why wouldn't he do at least something???... or pick something small up..or whatever...well..I've learned to get what you want...you have to tell him What you want exactly!... anyways..well my original plans were to not do anything... just let the day go by and when he complained or if he would complain say well its just like mother's day... lol.. I am so nasty...you don't need to tell me really. Anyways...my conscious got the best of me. I hate it sometimes. We ended up making a "homemade" gift..I can't say I don't want to spoil it.... but I love the sentimental factor over the Money factor... to me..I don't want some expensive thing that I originally really didn't want or need... But home made/handmade over $$$ any day...and sorry in advance to any family members that I must disappoint during the holidays...
3rd- Baby Shower "Busy"ness- I can't even begin to explain to you what I need to do for the shower to what I don't need to to do..Its just thrown in my brain and is always a looming cloud in my brain...I'm slowly getting my RSVPs from people... Friday... I will be running places getting stuff for the shower....
4th- My Kid's Birthdays.. and yes I am a idiot and having a little "family" bday party the day after Rachel's baby Shower.... I am such a crazy person and take on so much that I just plain stupid.. lol... so I went back and forth about having a party..b.c. its going to be such a crazy butt weekend...and so I settled on at least having the aunts uncles and grandparents for dinner b.c. we threw Sondra a 1st bday party..and well we got to for Stuart for his 1st bday...we gotta have a cake smash..and everything! what makes me settled down about this is... My sister in law Melissa volunteered to do the cakes...thank you thank you..I'm just going to make a dinner..that is easy for me to do... no worries there..and I think we are going to go all out..since its just us family..I'm gonna let Sondra pick out decorations and then pick a set out for Stuart...and decorate one end of the table one way and the other end the other way.. also their pcitures are finished!!!! I will be getting them printed friday!..Now I will have to finish their Birthday letters!... Wish me luck..that may be the weekend project... :)Here are the Collages I made of their photos..I'll send these out to aunts uncles and family friends..
5th- IDK ..I can't think of anything right at this moment.. oh lordy its 2:45pm already... I gotta go to the church and help decorate for Bible School...Stuart has been worrying me a lot lately...he just can't seem to shake this cough and wheezing business..I'm so sick of congested kids! lol.. just when Sondra seems to be growing out of it...Stuart seems constantly stuffed up or hacking it up... i tell Jake its his inferior genes lol...
A Sondra story.... So last weekend was Coolie's graduation party and Sondra is out playing with a couple little boys we know that are family friends..and the little boy is lead into the house holding his nose bleeding and crying....hhmm.....I ask what happened and my aunt tells me..Sondra hit him in the face with her shovel...OMG... this cannot be my daughter lol...so I go and find her and I get my mean mug on and I look at her and say Sondra did you hit Gabe with a shovel in the face...she looks at me innocent..."yes?"... I ask why?..her reply "Gabe was going to tackle me so I hit him"... lol.. well She is a resourceful little girl..I'll give her that..
So- more exciting news...Stu is getting his haircut this weekend! :) Very excited...and sad too..this will shed all his im a "bitty little" baby.. oh well..its part of life...his new tricks since I last wrote...he says Uh Oh...and when you say I love you or blow him a kiss he takes his hand and pats his mouth like he is blowing a kiss..its so sweet... :)...Since Jake has been so busy this week with hay stuff he doesn't get home till past 10pm and so I'm then I have to put Stu to bed and the last 3 night I have fed him and he falls asleep in my arms...so adorale. I've been just sitting after he falls asleep and watch him sleep..I can't stand it.. sooner than I would like he is going to grow up behind my back like Sondra did..I'm so amazed to look at her and remember like it was yesterday when she was born.. These past 4 years have flown by as super power speed...I hurt b.c. I can't seem to remember the last time I rocked her to sleep. like Sondra's years...Stuart's 1st year has flown too...I'm trying my best at "holding on"
Alrighty!.. I gotta get going..I'm off to get the kids...make something quick to eat and then to church to decorate!
